How it goes
- You tell us what she or he already loves. That is more useful to us than a budget.
- We propose two or three settings, with the reason for each — and the reason is never that it looks good in a picture.
- We hold the reservation, the hour, the flowers, the car, and whoever else needs to be somewhere at a precise minute.
- On the evening, nobody sees us.
A proposal is the one evening where nothing can be rescued afterwards. It is also the one where almost everything that goes wrong is logistics: a table that was not held, a sunset that was forty minutes earlier than anyone thought, a road closed for something nobody checked.
