Celebrations on board

A birthday, a wedding party, a corporate dinner — with the coast moving past the table.

A mooring line coiled around a cleat on a wooden quay, the harbour out of focus at sunset.

What it covers

  • Birthdays and anniversaries at sea
  • Wedding parties on the water
  • Corporate dinners on board
  • A chef on board, and service that knows boats
  • The quay, the cars, the way home

How it goes

  1. You tell us the occasion and the number of guests — at sea, the number is the first decision: it points to the right deck for the evening.
  2. We build the evening backwards from the light: when you board, when dinner is served, when the candles happen, when the city is at its best seen from the water.
  3. Everything that must be on board comes on board before the guests do — the cake included, which is harder than it sounds.
  4. If the weather says no, the evening has a second version, decided with you in advance — not improvised on the quay.

The question we are asked most about evenings at sea is not the one that matters. What decides the evening is not which boat: it is who is on board, what you are celebrating, and the hour you leave the quay. Get those three right and the water does half the work.

We plan the celebration side — the table, the food, the music, the timings, the guests’ way home, on a yacht for forty or a boat for twelve. The result reads simple: you board, it happens, you come back. Everything complicated was finished before you arrived.
