How it works
- It starts with the occasion and the number of guests. At sea, that number shapes almost everything else.
- We suggest the format, such as dinner at anchor, a day along the coast or an evening that starts at the quay, with the season, the light and the sea conditions in mind.
- We plan around what a deck actually allows: how the catering comes aboard, where music can and can’t go, when the light is right and what happens if the wind changes.
- You step on board as a guest. Everything has been arranged before you leave the shore, so there’s nothing left for you to organise.
Planning an evening on deck is very different from planning one in a dining room. Space is tight, the light changes as the evening goes on, and everything your guests will touch has to be brought aboard before they arrive. It rewards careful planning and leaves little room for improvisation.
